The Shanghai North Bund White Magnolia Plaza Office Tower Project, which was built with the participation of Shanghai Jangho Curtain Wall System Engineering Co., Ltd., recently won the 2016 Shanghai Construction Engineering “Magnolia Award” (municipal high-quality project). The “White Magnolia Award” is the highest prize of construction engineering quality awarded by Shanghai Construction Trade Association, and our winning of this award illustrates our company’s commitment to high quality.

Located in the Huangpu River area of North Bund, Shanghai North Bund White Magnolia Plaza is opposite to the Lujiazui financial center in Pudong New Area. The project is home to a large number of commercial and office buildings and hotels. The 326m-high tower has surpassed Shanghai Shimao International Plaza and become the highest landmark building with distinctive features in Puxi, Shanghai.
As the White Magnolia Tower’s unit curtain wall is a special-shaped slab, the error range of angle and dimensions should be strictly controlled. Each layer of curtain wall displays geometric changes, and the curve geometry of facade is realized through the cold bending technology. The petal-shaped tower crown not only presented great challenges for construction on the overhead flexible steel structure, which is 300m above the ground, but also had very high requirements for the quality of field setting-out and installation. Despite such hardship, Jangho Curtain Wall successfully completed high-quality and accurate installation, which created favorable conditions for winning the award.
Since the commencement of construction, the project department has set strict goals for quality, formulated a detailed quality assurance plan, and properly controlled the entire construction process, ranging from material quality to field installation. All this has ensured the success of the project, gaining praise from the owner and other parties involved. This landmark building, which is the result of Shanghai Jangho Curtain Wall’s whole-hearted work, has added to the magnificent scenery of Huangpu River.
